Car lease Calculator
This Car lease calculator allows you to estimate the financial result of a car lease agreement. Particularly what kind of interest rate they are charging. The car dealership often only talks about the money factor (or multiplier) that you multiply with the car price - capital reduction to get your monthly lease over the agreed period. However, using the money factor obfuscates the actual interest they are charging. This calculator finds the interest based on the 5 other parameters so you can better judge how expensive the car lease is.
Notice the correct use of signs. The car price is positive meaning the car dealership is giving you the car at this value. Capital reduction is therefore negative meaning you are paying them e.g. 10000 to reduce the lease amount. The monthly payment amount is also negative since you are paying them the monthly lease amount. The Residual Value is usually positive and represents the value of the car at the end of the lease term.
